It does not get tired to review, from time to time, these old movies are full of flavor. These are films that transcribe well the feelings of the characters, what they feel, their emotions. The two films look at and re-watch without ever getting tired... You know the best Marcel Pagnol after it and love it even more. These are two films full of freshness and joy of living, where we find the true values of life! A must see! Sorry I don't speak French very well. Judy Garland Judy is a great, a true legend. Fred Astair the greatest dancer in the world. located in the dancing the singing the music of the film and the feelings fun. a must-have.. Bourvil and de Funès! already these two names together, put us in a good mood, the film is having a great time of fun!!!! If you are sensitive to the actors ' voices, avoid : De Niro, in French has no doubler usual!!! The "publishers" have put a new voice!!! "Some like it hot" is not only a classic black-and-white from 1959, but a real little gem of a comedy as like to assert (rightly) the girls of Sweet Sue in one of the many bonuses of this blu ray. I look at this movie for many scenes, cults ("I want a be loved by you" by Marylin, the scene of the boat, or even the last scene with the great Jack Lemmon), without never get tired of it. So it is with some relish that I bought this blu-ray... alas! The master video reveals many white spots (especially in the scene of the garage, for example) or bands washed-out on the side (arrival of bus to the hotel). Admittedly, the image has a better definition and in a new format complied with, but this staple of the american film deserved a true cleaning video! The sound is indicated French DTS 5. 1 : where is the spacialisation??? An effective mono original, but cleaned and full flow would have been much better. The VO announced HD 5. 1 is equally missed, rather straight and offering no interest mood : a-t-it been properly reworked??? I doubt it...
